Shovels and buckets have found their way onto the sand along with swimsuits and sunscreens. Lips are covered with a thin layer of salt coming from the waves and the air is scented with monoi vanilla.

The vacationers have come early on this warm morning. Some of them have decided to reserve their spots early and are finishing off their nights, covering themselves with their beach towels. They will wake up in unison with the sun’s l rise.

At the break of dawn, joggers, children, tourists and dwellers share the area in harmony. Summertime brings smiles to people’s faces. Each of them cannot wait to lay for hours on their backs to take in as much of the sun rays as they can, making up for the rest of the year. Some of them will plunge into the cold surrounding waters, others will wet the edges of their feet only, but all of them will make of today the best day of their holidays, as if it were the first one.
